Reading ability is one of the most important ones in the 21st century. Senior school students' preseat reading rituation is very worring.It is very necessarty to develop aware and active reading in order to change the situation.Aware and active study is an important idea for new curriculum reform,and aware and active reading is one of the contents of aware and active study.The text includes four chapters: Chapter 1 The raising of aware and active reading,Chapter2 The foundation stone of aware and active reading, Chapter3 The practical exploration of aware and active reading,and Chapter4 The reconsideration of aware and active reading.To carry out aware and active reading requires senior school students to determine a short,middle and long term reading objective,work out a reading plan and choose a proper reading method before the reading activity according to the requiremerts of the outline and their own practical situation.They should make a self-observation,self-check and self adjustment during the reading activity.After that,they also can make a self examination,self-summary,self-evaluation and self-remedy to their own reading results.To carry out aware and active reading requires teachers to put forth effort to motivate students' teading motivation,to foster students'aware and active awareness, to set up a harmonious reading atmosphere and especially to protrude the students' main-body position.By some trainings,teachers should teach students reading methods, foster their reading ability and cause them to form the aware and active reading habit.To carry out aware and active reading requires teachers to strongly foster students' cognitive ability, and instruct students to make a self-plan training, a self-control traening and a self-evaluation training. That is, during the reading process, students should regard the reading activity which is being undertaken as aware object and constantly make an active and aware plan, supervision, evaluation, feedback, control and adjustment. in order to guarantee reading's success, improve reading's effect and reach reading's objective.The class teaching of aware and active reading includes five important links: self-reading, self-thinking, self-description, self-evaluation and self-use.
