A new round of revolution of national basic education has been carried out deeply all over the country. The change of education method is the key sign of the success of education revolution and also one of the most important research topics of education researchers. As a basic subject, mathematics has a strict logic. It is not enough for students who want to make great efforts on math only depend on the teachers teaching, the study ability of students is also very important. In the middle school mathematics education, the infusion teaching method is still popular. Students learning are still passive. They only listen to their teacher and hardly try to solve problems by themselves. We found three problems still exist in the middle school mathematics education based on questionnaire investigation and statistical analysis methods. 1. Teachers are the center of the class. Students are lack of dominant power. Teachers teach knowledge and skills according to the procedures in advance. Students can hardly develop their initiative and creative. Teachers seldom let students to study, practice and thinking by themselves. Teachers are the absolutely authority, and students can never abbey teachers points. 2. The change of learning method did not deep enough. Students had some outside movements but no inner experience. The atmosphere of teaching activities is warm, but the content of teaching always is omitted, the goal of teaching is fuzzy, and the teaching effect is difficult to assess.3. Teachers paid too much attention on new teaching methods and denied old ones. Based on those problems, we did some cases study. Then we made a conclusion about how to change the role of teachers and students, and how to improve the evaluation system:1. Change the teachers’ teaching ideas. They should set up the students oriented teaching ideas; teachers should try to use various teaching methods, like situational teaching methods. 2. Change the students’ study ideas. Their study interesting and cultivate mathematical thinking should be developed. They should change their study methods, including the pre-exercise, efficient classroom learning, summarize and review and so on. 3. Change the evaluation method. We should have diversified evaluation subjects and evaluation standard to make sure we can have more objective and fair evaluation.
