The research on the realization of educational values has always been a black spot, which is the result of the macroscopic concept applied by the present education theory. We should change to a different research way from the angle different from the macroscopic observation. This paper presents initial studies in individual values demonstration of higher education. It includes three constituents.The first part inquires into the research ways theoretically, which is based on the pattern theory and the theories of reconstructions and subjectivity philosophy. In this part I propose the idea of individual development pattern, as well as the application of research ways for this kind of pattern. I generalize three elements of the individual development of college students including values orientation, resources integration and behavior regulation.The second part applies the half-open interview to study the demonstration of individual values of higher education, basing on the individual development pattern. This paper leads to the conclusion that the values orientation of higher education is the precursor of the individual values demonstration, while the resources integration process is the main operation mechanism and the influences on the demonstration of individual values according to the identificationamong college students. Moreover, some factors of the higher educationthemselves will also restrict the demonstration of the individual values. The rationality of individual values is not only an innate but also a demonstration process during college students' construction of individual development patterns. The instrumental of individual values are mainly the innate process. What's more, the demonstration of the rationality of individual values is the basis and prerequisite of the instrumental of individual values.The third part of the paper studies the features and problems existing in the demonstration of individual values of the higher education. This is done by the questionnaire. The professional education resources of individual values expose most sufficiently, but problems existing in the education contents, teaching methods, evaluating modes and the education equipments etc. are bound to restrict the demonstration of individual values. The demonstration of the covert education resources such as interpersonal communication, information resources, social practices etc. present different features. The lack of the openness of higher education, the decreasing of the communications between teachers and students and the low rationality of the regulations etc. all restrict the demonstration of the individual values.
