Nowadays, network has become a reality of life and an important feature that characterizes the modern society. It is playing a more significant role in promoting the exchange of social information, facilitating human communication and developing economy and culture. Meanwhile, the negative effects derived from the network are becoming obvious. Vocational school students, as a huge community of network society; are both benefactors and victims of the network resources, thus bringing forth many problems. The fact indicates that it is impossible to separate vocational school students from the network. The matter is that how we teach them to deal with the network correctly and to cultivate them to resist the negative effects. Therefore, an exploration of network moral education of vocational school students is important both in theory and practice. This paper takes as its subject network moral education, which might enriches the content of moral education and broadens the vision of quality education. Based on a study of documents, questionnaires and case analysis, the paper elaborates the implication of network moral education, reveals the status questions of network moral problems among vocational school students, and proposes some countermeasures. The paper is divided into three parts. The first part explains the major implication of network education, its nature and its characteristics. The second part analyzes the present situation and problems confronting the network moral education of vocational school students. While discussing the positive influence of network upon vocational school students, it exposes its negative influence. A questionnaire conducted to nearly four hundred students of three vocational schools in Nanchang shows that vocational school students are the main community browsing the network and both good and bad information on the network exerts a deep impact upon their psychology. Some of them indulge themselves into network chats and entertainments; some of them even reveal immoral trends.The third part explores some measures used for network moral education and clarifies the purpose and significance of network moral education. Some suggestions on the following aspects are made in this part. It points out that the educators must renew their conception and highlight the sense of network moral education; schools should reinforce the function of network moral education and implement network moral education; some legislative measures should be taken to ensure the network moral education; various social forces should cooperate with one another to carry on network moral education.
