Research On Security Issues Of Internet Culture In Universities From Public Opinion

With the development of science and technology, Internet is coming into thousands of households in the world. As a new kind of media, Internet has become one of the important carriers to reflect the public opinions. The formation and the propagation of Internet public opinion has a great impact on the society. Internet brings us a lot of convenience. At the same time, the safety of Internet culture is also becoming increasingly prominent. Higher institutions are the bases to nurture the country’s future builders and successors, so their safety of Internet culture is particularly important. If the safety of Internet culture in higher institutions is not guaranteed, it will bring a great disaster to the students and the country. We should be cautious when dealing with such issues, otherwise the consequences will be very terrible, even harm the stability and unity of the nation.This paper begins with the concept of the safety of Internet culture in higher institutions, illustrating and clarifying the concepts of Internet public opinion, the safety of Internet culture and the safety of Internet culture in higher institutions with special analysis on the characteristics of Internet public opinion and the safety of Internet culture in higher institutions. Then it points out the problems in the safety of Internet culture in higher institutions at present: the challenge posed by the Western countries for the ideological position in higher institutions, the bad influence of the false, obscene and pornographic information on the cultural environment in universities, students’irrational judgments and behaviors made by the campaigns of the Internet marketers and the impact of the negative flow of information on students’moral values. Next it analyzes the causes of these problems. The westernization and the differentiation from the western countries to China by the use of Internet, the bad management of Internet public opinion in higher institutions, the immaturity of college students and the insufficient attention and the hysteresis for the construction of Internet moral are the main reasons. The problems in the safety of Internet culture in higher institutions and the analysis of the reasons make us understand the urgency of the construction of the safety of Internet culture in higher institutions at present. The Construction of the safety system of Internet culture in higher institutions is the first priority in the safety work of Internet culture. This paper points out the four principles in the construction of the safety system of Internet culture, and puts forward effective measures to construct the safety system of Internet culture in higher institutions. More attention should be paid to students’ ideological education work. We should establish and optimize the management mechanism of Internet public opinion, strengthen the guidance of Internet public opinion, train students’ consciousness of self-discipline and heteronomy, improve the moral construction of Internet in higher institutions and combine the online moral education and the offline moral education. It is believed that through the construction of this system, the work of the safety of Internet culture will be done more successfully.
