Contemporary Theoretical Circles Dogmatism Study

Since 90s, 20th century,The theory fields has been engaged in a momentous controversy revolving around the problems of "democracy", "nation" and "the people's livelihood" and the problem of China's future orientation, forming a pattern mainly represented by "New-Left" and "Liberalism" in China of the present age . "New-Left" takes western Marxism and traditional socialism as its theory source and dissertating strategy, holding a view of self-reflection, criticism and denial to process of China's reforming and opening-up history in nearly 20 years. However, they have found "a resolution " to solve China's present problems. "Liberalism" takes western liberalism as the theory source, providing a scheme of evolvement to capitalism.According to the theory source .value ideology,value tendency of the "New-Left" and "Liberalism" in China of the present age ,they can be definitized : "New-Left" is a school of theory ,which bases on thoughts of the realistic problems in China and takes western Marxism and traditional socialism as the theory source , the social equalization as value pursuit ,standing for returning traditional socialism Since 90s, 20th century. "Liberalism" is also a school of theory , which bases on thoughts of the realistic problems in China and takes western Liberalism as the theory source , regards freedom ,equlity and democracy as value pursuit ,standing for Westernization in all fields in China Since 90s, 20th century." new-dogmatism " means :since 90s ,20th century ,some theorists in China ,facing the problems and the conflicts existed during the development in China's modernization ,neglect the realities ,only copy the western theories as well as the traditional socialism theory and design the China's future.In the content, some arguments presented by "New-Left" and "Liberalism" are helpful in solving the problems and contradiction in China. But the theory's principal part is still a counterdraw and garbling to western theories, far away from Chinese reality.In the form, the debates, although disparaged as "storm in the cup", seem to be an ideology and theory conflict among Chinese intellectuals, however, they are the real social conflicts, especially the beneficial conflicts among different groups, that is the reflection of real clash on theory. Therefore ,I call them as "new-dogmatism" of the present age in China ..These debates also influence the future development in China.In order to be against new -dogmatism that deriving from "New-Left" and"Libberalism" ,in the new stage ,not only should we correctly analyze its basic valuepursuit ,the producing root and the harm ,but treat " New-Left " and " Libberalism "reasonably with Materialism opinions ,putting forward right methods and ways tooppose new-dogmatism.
