In education field, it' s generally admitted that attention, observation, memory, imagination, thought and other factors make up intelligence. Among them, thought is the core. During school education, one of the most important goals is how to make use of class teaching to improve students' thought ability including mathematics teaching. It takes the development of students' mathematics thought ability as the most important task. Therefore, thought character is a significant standard of evaluating and judging the level of mathematics thought ability. So this article, according to costructivism and the theory of mathematics class teaching, talks about problem solving and study students' thought character to discuss the forming and developing of thought character.This article gives a new definition to problem solving, puts up a standard judging thought ability level, and discusses the psychological activity mechanism emerging in problem solving. By means of example analysis, the author compares different thought levels of different students in detail. Through some time's teaching experiment, the author summarizes a teacher and a student's teaching positions. A teacher is a question designer and a guider. A student is an explorer. A teacher should creat an atmosphere that leads students to study actively, and become a person who is needed by society.students should not only be those who enter high schools but common workers who master skills to build our country. So this topic try to break though between "Talent teaching" and "Public teaching" . This is benefit for students, and let everyone reach their best level during learning.
