Innovation is the soul of a nation and endless impetus for a country' s development to achieve its prosperity and innovative capacity comes form a person' s continuous studies, which starts from thoughts that originates from doubts, therefore "query" constitutes an important procedure in the process of Chinese teaching in middle schools. The so-called "query" refers to that students, through reading and analyzing materials, willingly put forward questions prior to teachers' questions, the process of which is actually one with their active thinking. Training students' querying abilities should be the nucleus task in teaching students how to learn, the key in making students learn on their own and the specific embodiment of students' principle part in their studies, being a necessity in cultivating qualified talents in the new century. The queries in classroom teaching include teachers' queries upon their students and students' queries upon their fellow students as well as upon their teachers and, teachers' queries not only play a guiding role for students' thoughts, but also constitutes the means in training students how to query. Teachers' queries serve as models for students' queries, being able to instruct students in their step-by-step studies, to create querying conditions to stimulate students' active thoughts, to encourage students' in seeking questions to build their confidence in queries, to foster students' observing abilities and also serving as the precondition and foundation for the improvement of students' querying capability. Generally the methods in queries include: queries starting from titles; queries starting from key points of a text; queries starting from difficult points of z text; queries starting from the structure of an article; queries starting from major points of doubt, etc. Queries usually include the three stages of preliminary queries, queries upon careful reading and further queries.
