The channels of information transmission undergo several phases from "hear-say transmission", "meta-media" ( people keep records by tying knots, engraving wood and counting objects ), to printing characters, mass media and even the birth of the network in 1950s.As for the evolution of the teaching materials, since the first school geography teaching material "School Regulation on Imperial Permission" published by the Qing Dynasty in 1903, more than 100 years has been passed. During this period, the teaching materials of geography develop through the writing description, the combination of writing description and photographs, the combination of writing description and courseware, the computer-assisted teaching, and finally the emergence of the network teaching at the present time.Obviously, the teaching methods are greatly influenced by the ways of information transmission. In correspondence with rapid transmission of geographical information, the effectiveness and capacity of the teaching contents are becoming more important.However, it is noteworthy that network just provides as with the requisite material basis. To give full play to the advantages of network teaching, sufficient teaching information resources are necessary. And the kernel of the construction of information resources locates in the construction and application of network teaching resources base.According to the above analysis, this thesis attempts to make a study on the construction of the network geography teaching resources base in high school. The theoretical bases of the study are as follows: the CELTS-31 ("the technical standards of the educational resources construction"), the course standards of geography in high school, modern teaching theories, modern transmission theories, PRED coordination developmental theories and the related theories of psychology.Based on the former studies of network teaching resources and the analysis...
