With the fast pace of human knowledge development, the way knowledge develops has become "critical", "holistic", "integrative", "anti-fundamentalist" and "social constructivist" or "collaborative", the personality traits needed for teachers, as the innovators and handovers, have changed a lot: imagination, the ability to make hypothesis, the readiness to criticize, being daring to try, effective communication, authentic collaboration, spontaneity to make dialogue, trans-disciplinary knowledge background, decent social image and relationship, good at management and social coordination, all have become the necessities for the teachers at present. The curriculum of higher education for teachers in our country has been subject oriented, stressing on the acquisition of special knowledge, lacking attention on improving students' ability and exploring their potencies. Thus the curriculum is not so reasonable in that it lacks technical and practical content. Even the knowledge content is problematic. To a practitioner it is unrealistic, at least not important for education practice at present. The research into teaching model is an important subject at present. With the enrichment and deepening of teaching practice, there emerged a myriad of teaching models. Finding a model proper for higher education for teachers and cope with the changing in ways of knowledge development, solve the problem in educational curriculum teaching, improve the quality of the students,accelerate their development and help them adapt to the curriculum reform in elementary education, its main request of "inquiring study and collaborative study". This is significant. The present study quests for high manipulability, tries to connect with the reality closely and stresses on the study research into the program of manipulation, teaching strategy and application. The techniques of processes of forming collaborative group, the most scientific and good alternatives of position arrangement, the organization of the process of case study discussion, teacher's guidance in case discussion, analysis and solving process, the art of teachers in summarizing and evaluating a class, techniques and art for teachers' guidance in group subjects selection, research design, survey and practice, working report and paper writing and defending in subject research, the evaluation plan and manipulation requirements in case teaching model, possible catches in case teaching model and resolution, are all discussed in detail in the present paper. Case teaching model is appropriate for subjects that are practical and applied, easy to be promoted in these subjects, of referential value to other subjects at the same time. This model is suitable for: students in undergraduate level in teachers education programs, subjects like Working As Class Organizer , teaching method of every subject, Research Method In Educational Science, Pedagogy and other subjects in curriculum for higher education for teachers.
