Shanghai University Graduate Physical Status Quo Research And Analysis

Now the scale of the graduate students is larger and larger, The amountsof graduate students of some universities has already exceeded to theundergraduates. As high scientific and technical personnels of future, thegraduate students ' physical quality and health level are being problemsthat we should pay close attention to. So explore the graduate students'physical quality rule of development and how to improve their physicalquality has been paid close attention to by our government. But systematicresearch on graduate students ' physical quality is less , this thesis isbased on this background , summarize its experience and remedy deficiency ,from adopting documents and materials method , measuring method ,mathematics and physics statistic method ,carried on science to result ofphysical quality about graduate students of university. This thesis throughthe examination of physical composition (height, weight, body composition ),health function (vital capacity), physique(vertical jump , grip , trunkbending forward in sitting) of 876 graduate students and 455undergraduates ,which are 22-33 years old.Combining to the datum of theresearch about Chinese students' physical quality and health in 2000,I havecarried on comparative analysis on this three big indexes of physicalquality,and have summarized the current situation and characteristics ofthe graduate students.On the whole, the graduate students' physical qualityof university in Shanghai declined in various degree. The graduatestudents' themselves must do exercises frequently. Meanwhile , throughthese laws,characteristics and questions ,author put forwards thecorresponding suggestions.
