The curricula of 《Science》 (from Grade7 to Grade9) is a newly started general course during the new turn of reformation of the basic education course with the aim to foster the scientific accomplishment and it not only covers the primary physics, chemistry, biology and natural geology of junior high school but also extends in astronomy and some other intercross subjects and fields. Based on the analysis of theory, the setting of science as a general course gets accord with the trend of the reformation of education and it measures up to the target of the basic education of our country at present. However, the curriculum of our school system acts under the department instruction for a long time, which makes it walk with great difficulty to bring the curricula into effects both from conception and during the carrying out process. Thus, how to solve the problems during the carrying out process of 《Science》 so as to make it walks successfully has become a very stringent task in the reformation of the curriculum at present. The aim of this paper is to review and analyze the status quo of the general course of science and try to bring forward new methods to bring the curricula into effects further.This paper is composed of four parts. The first part illustrates the development of general science curricula of junior high school is an inevitable current from the auricular orientation, the basic conception and the aim of the science curricula and it introduces the status of the innovation and development of the curricula at home and broad. Accordingly, the text and significance of the subject is advanced. The text part analyses the status in quo of the course of Science and from the viewpoint of the teachers, students, administrators, patriarches, cultivation, evaluation, curricula resource and so on, it illustrates the characteristics which benefits the curricula to be brought into effects and some problems during its carrying out process. Based on this, combined with study results of the general course and practice theory in existence, some countermeasures which could further bring the curricula of science into practice have been brought forward. To the carrying out of the general curricula of science, the author considers teachers as the fundamental, evaluation as the guarantee, resources as the foundation. The end of the paper is the expectation of the curricula of science. The appendix of the paper is the consulting questionnaire and visit syllabus to the students and teachers of the review on the spot. At the same time it provides some evaluation scheme to some science courses and some scientific curriculum resources which could be empolder and exploited.
