The paper makes an analysis on the features of the international curriculum reforming. The present teaching method in chemistry puts more emphases on the students' living and social experience, the ability to solve practical problems with the help of chemistry knowledge. It also attaches great importance to the process of the construction of theory. The purpose is to cultivate the students' creative and inventive abilities and make them pick up a scientific research approach. The goal of our education is to help students take a right attitude toward science. The students have to master some ways to study on their own. Besides, great attention must be paid to the teaching of STS & STSE, students' responsibility and moral sense for society. As we know, quality education is the key of the current period of rapid science and technology development and knowledge explosion. A scientific educational method is essential to the cultivating of scientific quality. Based on a comparison between American and Chinese basic education, the introspection is needed when it comes to the existing problems in our basic education. An important way is to adopt the scientific educational method subtly in the process of teaching. Its importance and necessity is described in detail in the paper. The teaching principles in high school chemistry is mainly about the constructing and discovering theory. The acquisition for students to a greater degree relies on their own experience, knowledge level, thinking pattern. The testing method is used in the experiment according students' individual physiological characters. The scientific education method is applied by means of its knowledge, plan and system.
