Preliminary Investigation Of Yunnan Province, School Of Higher Vocational Ethics Education

The students of senior occupational colleges are being a key period of forming their world view, outlook on life and ethics. The period is also a turning point of forming their basic sexual concept. It is thought by most senior colleges that the teaching purpose of senior college is giving some skills to the students so that they can exist in the society. However, it is not thought much for the student's mental health education. For a young student, in order to get a happy life in the future, the important things should include mastering a living skill and making a good preparation for love and marriage. Because it is considered that both enterprise and family are two footstones of a happy life. So, sexual psychological health education relating close to family happy in the future will be very important to young students. At the same time, sexual psychological health education is also an important teaching content that should not be ignored by senior occupational colleges.The purpose of this study is to understand the development status of sexual action and sexual psychology of the students of senior occupational colleges, to research the contents, methods and approaches regarding to sexual ethic education, and to facilitate the development of sexual ethic education of senior occupational colleges in Yunnan Province.Understanding the basic status of student's sexual action and sexual psychology is a key link and an important breakthrough in developing sexual education. Therefore, a questionnaire was adopted and a pre-test was performed firstly. A primary investigation regarding the sexual actions and sexual psychology was given to the students of senior occupational colleges. After investigating, two lectures named Establishing a Correct Sexual Conception and A Successful Self-preparation for Amativeness and Marriage were given to the students respectively. The two lectures in a scientific and impersonal attitude introduced the development of sexual education in western advanced countries (USA took the lead), the harm from sexual liberation as well as the sexual education under the topic of re-establishing family and sexual chasteness started since 1990s. At the same time, the lectures introduced the development of Chinese traditional sexual conception and the status of academician's sexual actions, instructed students to establish a sexual concept that the pudicity was placed in the center, pursue a true affection and make a necessary preparation for obtaining a happy marriage that holds an important position in human's life. In order to analyze the educational effect of the two lectures, a post-test was performed after the two lectures had been held. The investigational results showed as follows:1) Sexual ethic education was needed by the students of senior occupational colleges. The statistic results from the pre-test showed that a lot of students lacked a correct sexual values and sexual ethic conception due to the lack of sexual education for a long time, hi addition, most students with different conceptions considered that a sexual education should be developed in senior occupational colleges.2) The contents of the two lectures were valuable. The results from the post-test showedthat the students had a more serious attitude to the antemarital sexual actions, and an obvious decline to the confessional degree of unofficial sexual actions after lectures, especially in girl students' results. These changes would affect the sexual actions of the students in a certain degree. Most students thought that a sexual education was necessary in senior occupational colleges, and many students gave a high evaluation to the lectures.3) Most students were approbatory to the sexual conception that the pudicity should beplaced in the center. It had been shown that the young students growing up under the mainstream environment of traditional educations agreed to the chaste sexual conception in their heart yet from the analysis of the teaching effect. That sexual liberation concept had been outdated in western countries would not overrun in China as long as our teachers could instruct the students in a scientific attitude and method.4) The study and practice of sexual education to the students of senior occupationalcolleges was still needed a hard work from the related teachers for a long time. Sexual knowledge needed by students is from many aspects, but the current education is far from enough.Sexual education is a comprehensive subject involving physiology, psychology and social science. It is also a new subject that needed to be studied further. Due to the limit of my related knowledge, length of the paper and time of writing, I think that there maybe exist some problems in the paper, in the aspect of questionnaire, the swatch number is too less, and the item is not entire enough. In the aspect of lectures education, the contents is not rich and entire enough, the method is not lifelikeness and interesting enough.
