| Since the 1980s, the professional development of teachers has been a hot issue .In attempting to improve the teachers' expertise, they are getting more and more attention from people around the world. The professional development of teachers along with the need of the modern education development and to cultivate a person with modern abilities is also a necessary trend. In our country ,with the challenges of the new century , the teachers' education innovation , the issue dealing with to improve the teachers' professional are posting the important schedule. Innovating teachers' education ,which includes improving the development of teachers' professional and teachers' qualities are necessary for the new demands in the education policy. The policy for the teachers' education should be benefit education's innovation and development of teachers' education at all levels therefore improving teachers' professional.This paper used Changzhou city policy as a samples for ongoing research in analyzing the policy along with surveyed teachers questionnaires and lengthy interviewed at school .The investigation and research focuses on the effectiveness of carrying out these policies and its influence on the teachers 'professional development.Taking an investigative view. Changzhou city attempts to improve the teachers' expertise as its goal and has made some rules about the goal of teachers' training as well as the content. Meanwhile, a series of policies were coordinated and staged to make sure that the teachers could continue to grow up in their professional fields. The teachers will carry this theory of education with them throughout their careers as part of their own self-conscious behavior and show the way to the development of their profession. The policy has been carried out basically, and has been adjusted during implementation according to the different times, the different schools'condition and circumstance. Regarding effectiveness, I think the policy still has some problems. Some policies haven't been carried out clearly, the policy seems unable to provide benefit to a wider area. Based on this diagnosis, this paper aims to bring forward some suggestions about improving the teachers at all levels, improving teachers' professional about education policy decision-making. |
