| Teachers are the backbone of promoting school education and teaching reform,guiding and promoting teachers’ professional development is a key issue related to the success or failure of school education and teaching reform.In recent years,although the Chinese government has paid more and more attention to the professional development of teachers and introduced many policies and measures.However,inservice teachers still have problems such as single career development channels and insufficient motivation for professional development.The UK paid attention to the field of teacher professional development earlier and accumulated rich reform experience,and exploring the relevant measures of teacher professional development reform in the UK can provide certain ideas and references for China.Based on the theory of teacher professional development and the theory of teacher professional leadership,this study sorts out the four periods of the evolution of teacher professional development policy in the UK and the fourth period of the proposal process of teacher professional development stage through historical analysis,and points out that the stage of teacher specialization is the stage of promoting the common development of in-service teachers’ profession and profession with teacher professional leadership.The proposal of this stage is the result of the combination of practical needs,policy foundation,government will and other factors.By using NVivo qualitative analysis software to analyze "Delivering World-Class Teacher Development " and the relevant policy texts of the professional stage of teachers in the UK,the results show that this stage is centered on the cultivation of teachers’ professional leadership,including the cultivation of personal ability,professional knowledge and skills,cooperation ability,and change ability,and has the characteristics of connection,combination of theory and practice,multi-dimensional training,and classification training according to practice fields.At the same time,taking the professional teacher professional qualification training projects of University College London and the Teacher Trust Development Institution as a typical case study,it is concluded that the teacher training practice in the professional stage of the UK has the characteristics of unified guidance framework,mixed curriculum and diversified learning methods.In summary,based on the study on policies related to the professional stage of teachers in the UK,several suggestions for teacher development are summarized.Firstly,multiple paths should be provided with teachers for professional development by achieving the diversity of career development routes,the continuity of professional development and the consistency of professional training.The second suggestion is to build up a professional leadership training system for teachers,we should formulate a development framework to guide teachers’ professional leadership training,cultivate teachers’ professional leadership by classification and dimension,and establish flexible blended training courses. |
