Higher vocational education is an indispensable component of modern education, and the mainstay in state industrialization, production socialization, and modernization. Since the reform and opening up to the outside world, higher vocational education had been rapid development in our country. In recent years, however, it has been facing challenges, such as the reduction of students, the downtrend of the students' overall quality, and the employment difficulty on the part of graduates.Industry-university cooperation a distinguished characteristic of higher vocational education, is a basic method to train professional personnel, experiences both at home and abroad indicate that higher vocational education, with the purpose of intense multi-facet co-operated education, demands more comprehensive cooperation than general higher education. Cooperation is an essential factor to achieve the fulfillment of training program, the target quality and the common recognition so that the professional education can supply diversified talents to the market. Thus the demands created by the development of social economy can be satisfied. At present, there are many problems in industry-university cooperation. They need to be solved by two sides. As a result, the co-operation can benefit the establishment of subjects, better education conditions, improve teaching staff and in turn provide morel employment opportunity for graduates. The co-operation can be achieved through such ways as co-operated scientific research, personnel training and teaching staff. Meanwhile a system needs to be established to guarantee the smooth operation and the development of the co-operation.
