The Ideal Education Of College Students Under The New Situation

Ideal is of great importance to the success of every university student as well as the sound development of the whole society. The social reform results in the change of student' s ideal simultaneously. Generally speaking, the majority should be confirmed. However, it cannot be deny that there are problems to which we should keep vigilant. All of these issues provide several new challenges for our work on the ideological and political education. Beginning with the analysis of the current situation of student' s ideal and its origin in the modern time, this article discusses the great significance of the instillation of university student' s ideal under the latest new circumstances, and also proposes some suggestions for its reinforcement and improvement.This article is about 35,000 words, consisting of five parts altogether:Part Ⅰ Summary on the ideal.The author has given an explanation on a series of issues on the ideal, such as its implications, its characteristics and its function and so on, through the comparative discussion of various view points and relative concepts.Part Ⅱ Current situation of university student' s idealThe author has analyzed current situation of the university student' s idea by referring to the documents and investigation practices, it is evident that the majority opinion should be confirmed because that they make the noble character as their paragon and do active practices of " the three representatives" theory under the guide of the Marxism-Leninism. On the other hand, in face of the fact that too much attention paid on personal ambition instead of responsibility for society, and the material interest instead of the faith of ideal, we have to be always on the alert forthese phenomena.Part HI Analysis of the influential factorsThe study about the causes influencing the ideal goes on in three aspects: the political and economic trend at home and abroad (mainly in the negative western values, corruption of few Party cadres and negative effect of market economy), the science, the Internet and the features of university student himself (e.g. the unstable psychological state, extreme-inclined thinking mode and inability of speculation).Part IV The meaning to strengthen the education of ideal for college student.The author believes that it is the necessary requirement for safeguarding the smooth going of socialist modern building and building a harmonious society fully to strengthen the ideal education for college students. To be more precise, ideal education is the core of political education; it is the inner requirement of the college students' own nature to strengthen the ideal education; it is also the present insistent need to strengthen the ideal education; and t to strengthen ideal education is determined by the functioning nature of ideal itself.Part V The reforming strategy of ideal education for college students.In this part, the author discusses three issues: first, the directing ideal which should be borne in mind in ideal education for college students; second, the two relations which should be dealt with correctly in ideal education for college students; third, the specif ic measures taken for ideal education for college students.On specific measures, the author believes, first, ideal education at all levels is to be carried out from the facts; second, ideal education for college students should be strengthened under the guide of three representatives theory; third, internet is to be accepted and used to strengthen theideal education; fourth, campus cultural building is to be strengthened to create a good air for ideal education; fifth, the traditional culture is to be employed to strengthen ideal education for college students; sixth, thinking and moral culture as well as formal culture are to be applied to strengthen the ideal education for college students.
