Foreign research shows that peer coaching is one of the most important means to promote teacher professional development. The quality and effect of peer coaching is the key factor to the effect of school-based research. There are some problems in the practice of school-based research in our country, however, and they have not been attached important to. On the basis of understanding about actual circumstance, this research attempts to construct school-based research mode on peer coaching from the aspects of goal, character, organization and implementation, according to the theory of educational action research and communication, in order to improve the effect of school-based research and promote teacher professional development.
