Peer Coaching Case Study In Promoting Teachers’ Educational Technology Ability

This study is based on the teachers’ education technology training, considering the collective effect are not in proportion with the cost of training, this paper uses the peer coaching form for studying the teachers’ education technology ability.In this paper, we designed two experiments to verify the peer coaching to promote the role of the teacher education technique ability, is teacher and pupil in pairs and peer coaching group.Teacher and pupil in pairs using action study, selected six teachers from the same secondary technical school, let the newly enrolled teachers and those who has rich experience in teaching into three groups, and then in the process of experiment, the first set of teacher and pupil found consistent teaching content is not conducive to disciples’ growth; So the second group of teacher and pupil to select different teaching content to participate in this experiment, the second mentoring found in the experiment if we let the teacher to curriculum implementation, the disciple is easier and more inclined to imitate his teacher’s teaching;Then take teacher and pupil in the last set of experiments teaching content is not consistent and we take disciple to curriculum implementation, the results show that the progress of the third group mentoring is larger than the former two groups, and mentoring pairing and mutual assistance in the process of disciple progress is far greater than the teacher.Peer coaching group selected five teachers from same high school and they are teaching the same grade with disciplines,those five teachers chose the same teaching content.By collecting lesson preparation in the first place, the five teachers determine the teaching objective, teaching strategy and teaching activities through collective lesson preparation.When collective lesson preparation, five teachers have the freedom to speak, they use the wisdom of the collective to make the lessons play a biggest role;Then at the end of the collective lesson preparation,those five teachers complete their teaching design, and teaching in their classes.At the same time,they organize the other four teachers view class and discussion class.In the process of concept class and discussion class, teachers can learn from each other, with his long fill yourself short, at the same time also can improve their teaching design and teaching implementation;Finally, the heads of five teachers to participate in the final debate, discuss the problems their harvest in the process of experiment, and try to propose solutions to problems.Experiments eventually show that peer coaching is an effective way to promote teachers’ education technique ability, but it doesn’t make each teachers have the same level of ascension.
