With the coming of the 21 st century we have entered the digital age, information technology has already extended towards all fields of society, changing our styles of life,studying and working, education information age has come. Colleges play an important role in training high-quality talents,and the classroom is the main place for teaching, but there are a lot of problems in traditional teaching, such as mainly based on teaching, lacking of communication. Therefore, researching on the college reform that based on modern information technology is the key to promoting higher education in sustainable development. The Flipped Classroom is coming of education information age, in which traditional teaching is replaced by watching learning resources before class, and carry out a series of interactive activities in class. It helps develop students’ learning ability, making individuation learning to be possible.The Flipped Classroom is widely used in primary and middle schools currently, it should be based on the characteristics of college students in order to exert its advantages effectively. Most of the college students’ learning activities are conducted on campus, and vulnerable to the surrounding environment and peers, establishing the mutual learning environment among peers can optimize the results of learning. Therefore,the study attempts to explore the application of The Flipped Classroom in university based on peer coaching.The study adopts multiple research methods such as literature research, investigation and experiment. Firstly, the author makes a classification to the research status of peer coaching and The Flipped Classroom through literature review.Secondly, combining with the analysis of the educational communication course and students,the author summarizes the main problems existing in teaching. Again,from different relative learning theories, the author constructs The Flipped Classroom model in university based on peer coaching, and carries out the specific teaching design based on the educational communication course.And then, the author confirms the validity of model by making an experimental research. Finally,the author concludes the advantages and disadvantages of the model through the results of experiment,and brings forward improvement measures,to improve the implementation effects of The Flipped Classroom in university.
