The 21st century is the century of competition. But the existed curriculums have some weakness, such as ignoring the process of study, valuing teaching more than studying. To satisfy social development requirements, we reform the structure of the basic education and study the Integrated Activity Curriculums at the turn of the century, in the hope of changing students' studying mode and train their creativities and practice ability.The Integrated Activity Curriculums is regarded as the structural break-through of the curriculums reform of basic education, devoted to breaking the closed curriculums, advocate the self-study, and promote students as the overall development of person of the society. At present, curriculums of basic education of our country is reformed and spread out progressively, and as a new curriculum, the study on the Integrated Activity Curriculum has just started in our country, some questions in theory are still in the course of discussing, it needs the practitioners to know it clearly urgently.This thesis researches the Integrated Activity Curriculum in theory and practice. On one hand , it explain the background and development course of the Integrated Activity Curriculum clearly, discussing the meaning , characteristic , theoretical foundation and the value of the Integrated Activity Curriculum . On the other hand, aimed at the ordinary high school, it discusses the object, design principle of this curriculum and explore implementation and appraisal of the Integrated Activity Curriculum. On the base of these work, we bring forward a integrated instruct system relatively and expect injecting the new content into research and practice of the Integrated Activity Curriculum, in the hope of offer theoretical direction and reference of teaching for operating the Integrated Activity Curriculum.
