The 21st century is an innovative century and education is the foundation of cultivating talents and improving the national creativity. The reform of the national college entrance examination (NCEE) is the impetus to push the education innovation. The main trends of the reform in the Chinese NCEE are characterized by the multi-dimension, comprehensiveness and selectivity. This paper analyzes the model of the general science examination and makes a comparison between the model and the examination target, then induces the characters of the test paper on biology which is a part of general science examination. At last, it combines the guidelines of the 3+X reform of the NCEE to discuss series of questions about how to improve the students' integrated capacity in terms of biology teaching in the middle school.
