Along with the development of cognitive phychology, more and more phychologists paid attention to the attribution theory .What's more, it's significant that attribution theory was applied to education and teaching activities. The study on attribution theory converted attribution process to attribution effects, especially attribution training's effects on negative attributing mode .It's more important that attribution training converts negative attributing mode to positive one, so the practical value is outstanding. The attribution theory complies with the basic mode that cognition influences on the behaviors and it emphasizes on this theory that different attributions lead to different behaviors, so this is the necessary trend that the attributing training is applied to the practice in extensive fields. On the basis of the preceding relative studies, this study designed a set of effective and feasible process for attributing training and used the combined methods of questionnaire and experiment. At first, based on the extensive survey of middle school students about the attributive trends and the anxiety levels, this study wanted to probe into the attributing characteristics of middle school students with different levels of learning and anxiety, including attribution, anticipation and emotion of the different examination results. Second, selected some students with high level of anxiety and improper attribution as subjects and divided these subjects into two groups at random. One group was used for experimental one, the other was used for the control group. Trained the experimental group for about two months according to the attributing training strictly and changed their improper attribution while the control group had no indicates. At the end, analyzed the attributive differences between the experimental and control groups, that's to say to examine the validity of attributing training procedure. Then probed into the attribution's effects on the anxiety levels of the subjects. The aim was to probe into the relations ofattribution and anxiety. The findings showed:(l)the students in the middle school with different learning levels have different attributing modes.(2)the students in the middle school with different levels of anxiety have different attributing modes.(3)improper attributions of experimental subjects changed by the attributing train.(4)based on the proper attributions, the high level of anxiety was lowered for these subjects in the experimental group and the anxiety level of the control group was higher than the experimental group. That's to say, attribution modes influence on the anxiety on some degrees.
