Great changes take place in China now, so thedevelopment of economic and technology are in great need of theinnovation of education. Also, the development of civilizationlooks forward to the reflection of education. The total innovationfrom the "course teaching" to the "moral culture" is required forthe development of education itself. During all the innovation ofeducation, more attention are focused on the change of Chinese,correspondingly, the innovation in Chinese is more difficult thanone of the other subjects, because the Chinese is much more closeto the heart and soul of the people than the other subject.The Chinese is made up of pieces of reading materials, so lotsof reading notes have to be taken, so the innovation of reading inChinese is one of the task of us all. As in "The Chinese CourseStandard of Incumbency Education", reading teaching is theprocess of dialog among middle school student, teacher andreading materials[1].And in "The Chinese Course Standard ofGeneral High School", it can be seen that Reading Teaching is thecommunion process among middle school student, teacher, theauthor and the reading materials, which is also the communionbetween soul and heart. So the dialog and communion in thiscourse refers to the individual of each student[2].Some question of reading teaching related to theory andpractice are discussed in this thesis, which is showed in threecharpters.Chapter 1From the reflection of traditional teaching, the authordiscusses the essence of reading dialog. The author figures outthat the reading process is the most important way of realizingsociety, collecting and dealing with message, independentthinking and getting a taste for aesthetics.The traditional teaching always makes the teachingprocess stiffness and will be divorced from the real life. So wethink the reading process is the process of dialog, which can bereflect in teaching process. Form this point of view, readingprocess is the dialog of many parts.Chapter 2The character of reading teaching and its behave isdiscussed on the basic of statement of the main content of thereading teaching.We think the reading teaching is creationary, mutual, equaland cooperating for the dialog process is equal and has certaininnovation result.The reading teaching does can be carried out by the dialogbetween teacher and high school student, student themselves,reader and author, also reader and reading materials.Chapter 3Some difficulties in the performance of reading teaching isdiscussed in this part.The author thought that the Benthamism is the primaryobstacle to obstruct the reading teaching become true. And thecomplex and the misunderstanding of reading teaching will alsoleads to some reversed results in this aspect.Beside this, some difficulty in evaluation system is anotherobstacle. So in order to make the reading teaching process becometrue, certain difficulties such as the misunderstanding of the topic,the pre-understanding of the high school students, the relationshipbetween teacher and the high school students, the establishment ofevaluation system has to be overcome.
