Green School: Educational Reform And Development Of The New Orientation

China is the first country which advocated and founded the so-cal led "Green School" in Asia. However, in spite of the appearance and the commendation of such school , in which aspects shall we develop the construction of "Green School" .Some even regard the conception as the greenlization of the school,which causes the wrong tendency in the progress of such school . Green lization is only an aspect of the construction.It concerns various aspects instead of a certain respect of the school affairs.In general ,we should consider four elements, namely :the management of the school ,the curriculum , the school environment and the relationship between the school and the residential district .In the firstplace , each "Green School" should offer an environmental subject which is reasonable in the structure and is comprehensive . In the se cond place , each of them should create an educational atmosphere of being friendly to the environment, furthermore ,all the teachers ,stu dents, administrative personnel and workers should participate. Still another , the school witch such a title should encourage the behavior of deserting the traditional indoor ,inculating teaching , and change it into a model of the students ' independent learning , which enable the students to shift from the passive receivers of the educational information to the creative learners .Through such a school, the stud ents will acquaint themselves with the situation of the local, region al , or even global environments and their developments ,and search f or the settlement.As the result of the campaign of the environmental education , the"Green School" is a cardinal method of the environmental education, and its intension changes as the target and the demand of the env...
