Hurdles is a technical sort in the track and field. It require speed, strength, endurance, agility and flexibility. In all sorts of the hurdles, men's 110-meter hurdles is most representative. It can be described that athletes complete several phases including get-off, continuous hurdles and spurt in 110-meter distances. In China, hurdles start lately, while developed quickly and has made progress .Recently, most study on 110-meter hurdles concentrate on technique of special athletes and teaching research. Unfortunately, the study of whole level are less. The purpose of this research is to find the problems in the athletes of our country according to the research on technique mode of men's 110-meter hurdles of different levels in China in order to make sure the direction of technical development and create theoretical support to get excellent results.The paper takes some whole techniques and the 7th hurdles' technique of excellent athletes who attended men's 110-meter hurdles in 2005 National Athletics Competition in Guangdong and Shijiazhuang as a research object, sampling 38 performances of 21 athletes. The data got by surface and three dimension fixed-point photography and analyzed by The Engine Sport Video Analysis system(Beijing Body Information Institute made), finally dealt by SPSS statistics.It can draw some conclusions according to the analyses on the average speed, the time of every hurdle, the time of striding hurdle, the time of steps between hurdles and the 7th hurdles' technique of men's 110-meters hurdles.(l)Recently, the excellent athletes group in our country athletes of our country should promote the top speed between hurdles based on strengthening the speed of running, insure the stability of the speed of the whole distance between hurdles and improve the get-off technique. The time of striding hurdle is the key which influences athletes' performance and should carry on the breakthrough. In addition, it is worth paying attention to the combination of run to stride and stride to run to maintain the advantage.(2) The chief factor restricting the performance of master athletes group is average speed and speed-endurance training. Concerning on the time of striding hurdle, athletes of this group should strengthen the counterchange of leg after attacking the hurdle, the act of press off of lead leg and the sustaining ability of the joints of hip, knee and ankle after hurdles. It is important to strength the link up of run to stride and stride to run.(3) There are the same level between two teams of the first-class athletes. So athletes of this group should emphasize on developing the combination of speed of running, speed-endurance training, the time of striding hurdle, run to stride and stride to run.(4) Concerning on the 7th column technique, besides athletes of international top athletes groups, athletes in other groups should strengthen the act of press off of lead leg, reduce the time and the pace-length of crossing hurdles, and keep the higher speed of crossing the hurdles.According to the paper, It can give some theoretical bases to the training methods and match skills of men's 110-metre hurdles and improve athletes'performances to prepare for 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
