Induction-deduction is one of the main skills in human cognition. It greatly broadens our views and is considered the most important and general part in school education. This thesis is to probe into the influence of the biology teaching model on induction-deduction skill.Teaching model is established by introducing the model research method to teaching field reproducing the nature, abstract characteristics, dynamic and natural relations and the general appearance of the teaching. Teaching model is the example or case briefly summarizing different types of teaching forms. Teaching model is the medium of teaching theory and practice, so the research on it has values both in theory and practice.Based on the literature analysis, this thesis sets up the framework as the followings: First, an operative definition of induction-deduction comes from the angles of Thinking Psychology and Subject Teaching Theory; Then, the content of induction-deduction is classified, according to the task and selected content of learning; And then, biology teaching method id constructed theoretically, based on the induction and deductive learning and thinking procession.This thesis tests the changes of students' induction-deduction skills in middle school, and their learning level. And it also examines the relationship between their improved learning level and such elements as deductive ability, learning strategy, learning attitude and teaching model. The key conclusions are as the followings: First, induction-deduction biology teaching model can benefit the foster and improvement of induction-deduction skills. Second, induction-deduction teaching model can do good to the improvement of learning levels and their interest in biology. Third, the mutual function of teaching model and learning strategy has obvious effect on induction-deduction skill. Fourth, induction-deduction teaching model is adjusted to the students from different types of school, so it has the value of popularizing.As a whole, constructing inductive teaching model in biology class has certain theoretical value to enrich and broaden the teaching models in biology teaching theory. And it also gives enlightenment to biology teaching reform in middle school, and it can provide a thought for the design of biology teaching.
