| At the beginning of the 20th century, every country and government has a focus on study and practice in the cooperation of production, teaching, and research as the important element and the main task of the national educational, economical and social development. Nowadays, the speed of modern technological development is great. And, the cycle in which scientific and technological achievements are translated into production and commodities, has been dramatically shortened. So, speed has become the important competitive element in the international market. Therefore, in accordance with scientific-technology and economic and social development, the cooperation of production, teaching, and research in every country will be accepted as one kind of prevailing international trend and urgent task. It will not only demand superior resources and mutual development, but also require highly innovative professionals.With the transition from the industrial economy to the knowledge economy, colleges and universities, as the places of imparting knowledge, cultivating innovational ideas, and cultivating talent have taken a superior position along with the cooperation of production, teaching, and research. Also, universities have been spotlighted as the place of fostering their own enterprises. Recently, it is the international common trend that governments participate in the cooperation with enterprises or between enterprises and universities.Colleges and universities are places where knowledge is innovated and talent is cultivated, while enterprises are the main bodies of innovating technology and realizing industrialization. With the market as a linkage, the government can put forward some policies about universities and enterprises to participate in the economic development and social advancement.In this paper, we begin with an introduction of the basic conception of the cooperation of production, teaching, and research and state its necessities and effect. After that, we analyze its importance. On the base of this study, we compare and analyze the patterns, characteristics and other aspects of the cooperation of production, teaching, and research in Korea and China. Finally, on the base of drawing lessons from the patterns of the cooperation of production, teaching, and research in Korea, we put forward some pieces of advice for setting the cooperation of production, teaching, and research whose main center is colleges and universities in China. |
