Which type human we should train and how to train is the basis question that the socialist education development must solve. They are the hope of our nation and the future of our country. Strengthening and improving the college students' ideological and political education is urgent to guarantee the successors of the Party undertakings, to build a well-off society in an all-round way, to bring about great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and to well grow of the college students. On the base of it, the author divides the total goal into five aspects, they are firm ideal faith, strong patriotic emotion, noble moral character, explicit law and discipline idea and health psychological quality, At the end of the article, the author also does a deeper study at the way, idea and work mechanism of the college students' ideological and political education, they are the safeguard of realizing the college students' ideological and political education's goal.
