Under the background of lifelong education and knowledge economy, the science curriculum of compulsory education has reformed wholly in China. The emergence of integrated science curriculum in Shanghai calls for attention on the professional development of junior high school integrated science teachers. After looking back on the history of teacher professional development in brief and summarizing several theses, the author notice that there are a few concern on the professional quality of junior high school integrated science teachers nowadays in Shanghai even in China. So, the author decides to focus on the structure, the situation as well as the improving strategies of junior high school integrated science teachers' professional quality based on the idea of 'cognize-practice-cognize again'.At first, the author discusses the structure of junior high school integrated science teachers' professional quality again though some articles, and puts forward something worth emphasizing in the structure so as to adapt to the transition of character in the curriculum reforming. Secondly, the author gets to know the challenges and problems which junior high school integrated science teachers meet in the ways of qualitative researching such as interview, observation and listening to some lessons. Besides, the author analyzes the factors affecting junior high school integrated science teachers' professional quality. A model should be built up to improve their professional quality in a higher and more systematic level than ever.Therefore, the frame called 'Multiple Dimensional Cooperation' is introduced. The cooperation among curriculum experts, trainers, environment and teachers themselves is intended to provide helps to improve junior high school integrated science teachers' professional quality. Some suggestion as strategies are put forward in the hope of helping integrated science teacher to establish a sense of professional development, improve professional skills, realize professional development and be an excellent integrated science teacher in the curriculum reforming.
