On Ecological Civilization And Rational Ecological Human Shape

We are actually faced with more protruding and complicated environmental problems. Man has never realized that it is mankind himself who has caused his survival and sustainable development suffering serious threats. Knowing the seriousness of the critical environmental problems, man begins to think thoroughly about the relationship between man and nature from humanity value, believe that the relationship between them is supposed to have much to do with morality. As a result of that, environmental ethics has arisen at the historic moment.As we are moving towards the modernization, the environmental problems are now increasingly serious. Being restricted by such conditions as economy, society and citizen's civilization qualities, China has not attached full importance to the education of environmental ethics and the practice of studies, The national government, environmental protection department and the educational department has not come hand in hand to fix the concerned question in advance and to strengthen the environmental moral constructions. The public's awareness of environmental protection is still fairly weak. Forming and consolidating the awareness of ecological and sustainable development needs people's recognition on the base of social cultural value. It would not become a voluntary behavior for people to protect environment, to use clean technology and carry out sustainable development strategy unless the awareness of environmental construction has become the jointly sense of public .This thesis is attempting to probe the present situation of ecological civilization construction of China and the deficiency of humanity, and to make people know the necessity and urgent building ecological awareness and morality, in the hope of supporting the environmental protection cause of China. With the increasingly improvement of science and technology and the gradually perfecting laws, we should make better use of ecological awareness and morality in order to solve the environmental problems appropriately. We must strengthen the building of ecological world outlook, ecological moral view, ecological social perspective and ecological values in the talents training. The thesis argues that the first important task of building ecological civilization was to train rational eco-man at present time. Only main body is qualified, would the quality of ecological civilization construction be guaranteed, would the direction be steadfast. And only when the environmental protection changes into one kind of voluntary action, would harmonious relationship between man and nature be genuinely realized. Eco-man is a new humanity hypothesis raised on the base of Economic Man and Moral Man. It has more ecological consciousness, seeks maximum of synthesized benefits. The expected qualities of rational eco-man determine the methods of the training of eco-man and eco-education. Every link has to be tackled appropriately; otherwise, the scheme can only exist in the realm of ideology and the ecological crisis cannot be foundation ally reversed.The construction of the ecological civilization with Chinese characteristic is a complicated systematic engineering, needing people to make the long-term arduous efforts. In a word, as long as each citizen participates in the action enthusiastically, as long as school, government, enterprise and society cooperates with each other closely, the quality of talents training will be guaranteed, the ecological civilization with Chinese characteristic will certainly be built and gain greater achievements, and can the development go on.
