At present, with the constant impact of period of plural values that the society makes the transition, it is more and more outstanding that the middle school students' who are deficient in honesty and trustworthiness. This problem gets the extensive concern of the various circles of society, especially education circle. To further investigate the profound reason that the middle school students who are deficient in honesty and trustworthiness and to strengthen the middle school students' honesty and trustworthiness consciousness constantly from the means of education and system aspects and to strengthen the system of middle school honesty and trustworthiness is an important subject in ideological and political education of middle school. By the way of society statistics, this article is adopted combination method of the qualitative and quantitative analysis through granting the questionnaire. On the foundation of the sample investigation to many middle schools of this city, it has been understood extensively for the attitude toward the present middle school students' thought state, especially honesty and trustworthiness. Through analyzing the questionnaire and deeply thinking inherent reason that middle school students are deficient in honesty and trustworthiness, the author has proposed pertinent measure and countermeasure. In the article, at present, deficiency of middle school students' honesty and trustworthiness generally exists in various kinds of behaviors, such as learning life, economy life, human communication and self-known. There are mainly four respects for its reason: First, in the transition period of society, various kinds of negative effect brings deficiency of student individuals' need and motive of honesty and trustworthiness. Second, value becomes many faceted, which brings deficiency of the social identity of middle school students' honesty and trustworthiness. Third, in the course of the exploration of new education pattern, the middle school students' self-consciousness gets weak. Fourth, new-type family structures also make middle school students' responsibility consciousness deficiently, and make them lack the ability of rethinking. For these reasons, the author proposes, to improve the situation mentioned above, it is necessary to help middle school students choose value of honesty and trustworthiness consciously on the basis of analyzing middle school students' age characteristic, through various means and measures.
