Parents - Young People, "parent-child Communication Status Quo

This article organize the factors of Parent-Adolescent Communication with the theory of functionalism being the rationale, and creatively construct Parent-Adolescent Communication Functional System (PRCFS), which consists of Communication Modes System, Communication Contents System, Communication Status Structure, Communication Value System. Then, through the questionnaires and interviews, this article researches the Parent-Adolescent Communication Functional System (PRCFS), and find that : 1. Parent-Adolescent Communication presents the good adaptability, and the good development tendency in spite of the many different and paradoxical factors, 2. The structure of Parent-Adolescent Communication shows distinctly the tendency of equalization, 3. The ability and the status of adolescents in communication have strengthened, 4. The parents show some conventionality and feudalization in the communication. And it is the culture of equality, liberty and decentralization of authority impels the Parent-Adolescent Communication to show all these new features.
