The Tridimensional meaningful learning theory (TMLT) states that the learning course of students is supposed to consist of three dimensions, which are method, content and sentiment. Each of them has meaningful and unmeaning ends. In learning method dimension, the meaningful learning is called inquiry learning. And the unmeaning learning is called receptive learning.TMLT is based on the learning theories which are popular with us. The inquiry learning includes the following elements: engage, educe, expect, engineer, explore, end, exchange, elaborate and evaluate. And all the elements should compose the compound learning cycle. This inquiry learning based on the compound learning cycle is called compound learning cycle model (CLCM). The CLCM is based on some influential inquiry learning models currently which are learning cycle, 5E model, Suchman Inquiry Session, Joseph Schwab's Biological inquiry model. |
