Concept map originated from the 1960s, brought up by Joseph D. Novak and Bob Gowin in Cornell University. Concept map is an instrument to organize and represent knowledge. It's a special-network map, indicating the relationships between concepts in the form of scientific propositions, and illustrated by specific examples so as to systematically link all the basic concepts together.The purpose of the thesis is to carry out the concept map teaching strategy in physics in the nine-year level general revision and the eight-year level new lessons in junior schools, based on the congnitivism-learning theory and constuctivism-learning theory.The thesis explains the strategies in teaching, revision and researching experimental lessons, and demonstrates the process in which the students are making the concept map.A conclusion is got from the experiments:In the junior school period of the compulsory education, the concept map teaching strategy can be adopted which can stimulate the students' interest in physics, enhance their learning desire and motivate their activity. In the process of learning concept map, the boy students improve more greatly than the girl students, because the boys can better construct and solidate what they have learned.Many points should be mentioned in the teaching of concept map when it's carried out in common city schools and town-owned schools:1) The teachers themselves should First learn the concept map: they learn as they teach and they teach as they learn—teaching and learning benefit from each other.2) Before making concept map, one should put aside the concept of the pro-science and use the physics terminology to construct the concept map, fully understand the denotations and connotations of the concepts, and making clear of the relationships between the concepts.3) Just use the Chinese version software and only introduce the use of the software for students or the making of hand-made concept map.4) Teachers should carefully analyse the teaching materials to find out the chapters which are fit for making concept maps.5) Students should have enough time, keep on it and gradually improve their ability to construct the concept maps.
