Our country emphasizes the agreement of knowledge and skill , process and method, emotion manner and values goal on elementary education curriculum reform at present.It wants to change the idea of"wants the student to study"to"the students need to study",also to stimulate students'interest, let the students participate, be glad to the inquisition, be initiative and cooperative. To aquire the desire, the interest and the method of study is more important than to learn much knowledge. The new curriculum requests us not only to handle the traditional effective teaching method, but also to discover and use the new teaching method according to the actual situation. We need to explore unceasingly, follow the time, and uses the new educational model at time.Physical knowledge includes physical phenomenon, physical concept and physical discipline. The Physical concept, with the general attribute and its own features, is the key element constructing the physical knowledge for students. It is one of the most important parts and also the difficulty of physical teaching in the high school. And the research on its teaching methods therefore, can help the physical teacher accomplish teaching target more effectively. Enable the student to grasp the physical conception is the key to physical teaching. The physical conception teaching is an important way to develop the students'capacity and intelligence. The way of obtaining the knowledge for students is closely related with how much they will get and has great influence on their lifelong development.The concept map is the graph that can vividly express a series of meaning and the relations in the proposition network. It arranges the various meaning and the relations as the brain dose with the level structural while saving knowledge, which clearly reveals the essence of the meaning construction. As a tool of teaching and learning, once applied in teaching, it can promote the effect of teaching and learning.Upon the request of elementary education curriculum reform, the paper embarks from the teaching function of concept map, taking the meaning theory and construction principle as the theory basis, introducing the concept mapping strategy into classroom of physical concept teaching and adopting teaching experiments,literature methodology, questionnaire method and interview method to carry out the teaching research on conception of physics. The paper, by the study on the two senior classes of grade 2008 of the Zi Chuan No.1 middle school in Zibo City, aims to prove the effectiveness of the way of teaching, which takes compulsory course 1 from Renming Teaching Press as teaching content and with the help of the concept mapping methods. Through comprehensive examination to the student by the way of contrasting experiment, questionnaire survey, case interview ,it finally shows that there is no remarkable difference in enhancing student's physical results ,but has good effect on promoting student's interest and the attitudes on study ,and plays a positive role on the development of students'individuality.Combined with educational idea of the new curriculum, the research provides some thinking for the application of conception map in physical teaching, which is regarded as tool of teaching and learning to apply in the concrete teaching practice. the paper also discusses the mapping problems appeared in teaching and puts forward the reasonable proposals.
