It is noted in WHO(World Hygiene Organization) chart that "health is the basic right for the human being" and "realizing the goal of every nationality's health is the only way for the world peace and tranquilization". With the development of the globe economy, health problems are more and more focused in every country.The elementary way of promoting the health of citizens is education of health, of which the emphasis and the most effective period is the children and teenagers. Children and teenagers are the most acceptable and adaptive in this period, when they can form various behaviors. Therefore, it is the most important part of the health education to enlarge their healthy knowledge and develop their healthy ability through the curriculum of health at school. Every nation in the world takes importance of the school to promote the children and teenagers' health. WHO and other international organizations also make their efforts to promote the education of health in school, to which Chinese government definitely pay serious attention. In 1951, CCPCC (Chinese Communist Party Central Committee) government affair issued "About the decision of improving every grade of school's health education of the students" to prescribe that ordinary high school should establish the curriculum of physical hygiene. In 1990, the State Council issued "the regulations of school hygiene" to clarify the requests of the school health education.However, it is a contradiction between the improvement of demand on health education as the result of the social development and the shrink of the current curriculum of health in the school. Take Beijing as example: through the survey of health curriculum, meanwhile the school can't pay enough attention to health education. There are efficient lessons and time for the students, which is under the requests of "the regulations of school hygiene". Teachers of health education are in lower grade, most of whom have not got any professional training program. Textbooks and criteria do not coincide, which are too random, non-systematic and out of date. As a result, the goals and requirement of health education in school cannot be reached.The thesis has analyzed and compared domestic and external health education development and the curriculum pattern. Using the theory, method and the patterns of health education in developed countries for reference, on the basis of the practice of health education in Beijing, it has made profound study on how to establish the new health education curriculum pattern to meet the need of Chinese education development right now. It is hoped to play some reference role in our Chinese health education.
