Study Of The Evolution Of Industrial Structure In The Process Of Urbanization

Urbanization is interrelated and interdependent with industrial structure evolution. The adjustment and upgrading of industrial structure needs the support of urbanization, and urbanization is one of the key subjects of adjustment and upgrading of industrial structure. Thus, it is greatly significant for government to raise its macro-adjusting and controlling ability and executive administrative level by studying the interdependent relationship between urbanization development and industrial structure evolution with a scientific attitude and method, and then establishing a reasonable supervision and control system.The article first sets forth the background and significance for the study, puts forward the main studying focus, elaborates a studying framework, then on the basis of other experts and scholars' previous studies, it takes Kunming city as its object to start the study. The article will adopt both studying methods of management and economy, through collecting, systematizing and summing up numerous data on the development of industry and urbanization of Kunming and other domestic cities, referring to the concerning researching achievements and experiences domestic and abroad, focusing on the relationships between the evolution of the industrial structure and the development of urbanization, by skillfully using some methods of management statistics, especially the statistics software SPSS13.0 to accomplish the task of data calculating and analyzing, so as to give a full and accurate study on the topic.The result of study shows the facts that it is basically mutual fitted for Kunming's economic and social development and its urbanization level. Although it is a three-two-one industrial structure now, its secondary industry is still relatively weak, which results a fact that its tertiary industry is not fully developed, especially the modern service industry, and so is its urbanization level. The city's four urban districts and a county-level city, Anning, contribute the most to the development of its industries. The city's urbanization level is a little lower than its industrial level on a whole, but the gap is not so big. But the urbanization level differs greatly between counties, county-level city or the districts, which has an unbalanced distribution of "most in the two ends while few in the middle".At the end, the article further puts forward some basic thoughts on the industrial structure upgrading and urbanization development of Kunming, analyses the issue of how to accomplish the task of upgrading its industrial structure while progressing the course of urbanization, and gives some suggestions on tactics for solving problems.
