In our country people attached much importance to personality cultivating in early times but it's merely several years ago to regard it as a science subject and it's seriously rare to discuss personality education specially from subject education. In the background of modern times' education taking people as the foremost and paying much attention to people's all-around development, with superficial opinions, the author discussed several simple viewpoints on some basic problems of personality education in historical teaching.In this article, the author confirmed the meanings of personality,healthy personality and personality education; illustrated the importance and advantages of putting personality education into practice; analyzed personality education ignorance in historical teaching and at the same time, to the question of the personality education ignorance condition, the author, linking with the teaching practice, explored effective strategies of putting personality education in history teaching from some aspects as how to develop the teachers' own personality charm,dig the personality education functions which the teaching materials contain,use the playtime classes and reform-evaluating mechanism sect's it can provide theoretic bases and practical direction for the front-line teachers to practice personality education.
