In education area of China, moral education is always in a dilemma, and the inefficiency and disorder of school moral education overall is well known to all. However, a new requirement is proposed with the progress of the times, the furthering of the quality education and the fully implementation of the new curriculum reform. As the primary and secondary school masters and teachers, we have to fully and deeply understand the current situation and development trend of the moral education in primary and secondary schools of China, facing the existing problems and the causation in the moral education area, remedying the existing abuse of moral education with great effort, so that we can richly gain the actual effects from the moral education innovation.Having been teaching for 16years, the author is always working in the leading edge of the basic education. At the remaining time of teaching, the author also works as a moral educator, experiencing to be a teacher in charge of the class for 6 years, be the chief of the Communist Youth League organization for 2 years, be the director of the ideological and disciplinary education office for 6 years as well, and she is now the vice-president in charge of moral education. Benefiting from 16-year-experience of making ways to improve the quality of school education, the author understands that the importance and the difficulties of the moral education, however, the development of society, the special mission and sacred duty given to the educator by the ages'progress requires her to explore the way hardly to better the effectiveness of moral education and never stop.The value of this research paper is how to consolidate the spirit of the age, move out from the mistakes of the moral education, get away from the dilemma, explore a much more effective way to reform and innovate moral education, and also provide the quotable theory and practical strategy of moral education to the educators who work at the leading edge of the basic education.This paper elaborates from four parts: the first part tracing back to the nature or characteristics of moral education from the development of the Chinese-foreign theory of moral education and the nature of current school moral education, introducing that moral education is a kind of act or process of guiding towards values, the aim of moral education is to guide the self-development and self-construction of the individual moral consciousness and against the instillation of moral concept by any ways. Moral education should foster individual moral consciousness self grow and originate in the real life. It should not be intellectual moral concept. The second part systematically discusses, reviews and examines the current inefficient situation of the school moral education from the aspect of practice. The third part deeply probes into the crucial reason of the inefficiency of the current moral education. Through analyzing the cause of the dilemma of current school moral education thoroughly, the author points out that the basic reason of the difficulty in school moral education is the school moral education departing from the nature. The fourth part explores the new way to return to the nature of moral education from investigating and generalizing the successful cases of school moral education. Finally, the author illustrates that to get away from the dilemma, to acquire the practical and efficient strategy in our primary and secondary school moral education area, the key point is returning to the nature of moral education, that is to say return to the exact orientation of understanding the moral education, retuning to the individual student, returning to the basic education rules, returning to the real life, returning to the nature of school education, and returning to the improvement of the teachers'ethics understanding and background.There are three creative points of this research paper: the first one is that consolidating the practice, it systematically rethought the current problems of school moral education and deeply investigated the cause of the problems. The second one is that it explored and generalized the actable and effective ways from the practical cases of moral education reform by action. The last one is that it provided some kinds of theories and experienced practice to promote the change of the moral conceptions of educators those who work in the leading edge of basic education.As the limitation of the author's knowledge and ability, what the paper exploring and discussing can not be free from shortcoming or mistakes, therefore, please do make your valuable comments.
