The higher vocational education of our China has made a rapid development inrecent years. To cultivate the senior talents of technical application type to meet thedemand of society, the higher vocational colleges must strengthen the practical teachinglinks, such as experiment, exercitation and practical training etc., and must foster theirinnovative spirits and practical abilities. Among these practical links, the practicaltraining plays a critical role on the cultivation of students' professional abilities andqualities. Therefore, the construction of the practice bases has been an urgent andimportant task for higher vocational colleges.How to construct the practical bases that are qualified to higher vocationaleducation under the circumstance of limited educational resources? It becomes thequestion to which the attentions should be paid by higher vocational colleges. Conceptsmake the outlet, and countermeasure as well. It is no doubt that the basic concept ofresearching the construction of practice bases would contribute a lot to the practice baseconstruction for higher vocational colleges with a realistic significance. That's to say, the practice base construction is the one with the core ofcultivation of students' post capabilities, with the service orientation of post training,with the aim of fostering the senior talents of technical application type, and with thecontents which covers a particular industry or business. In the process of construction, itneeds to insist on the principles of simulation, advancement, systematicness and openiUnder the guidance of modem educational concepts, the practice base construction mustadapt to the need of the reforms of higher vocational education. The specialtyarrangement of high vocational education, the reforms of curriculum structure and the renewal of teaching methods would influence the practice base construction greatly. Thespecialty arrangement facing to social economic development, the curriculum structureadhering to capacity identity and practical training mode emphasizing on autonomouspractice should become the basis of constructing the specialty practice bases for highervocational colleges.Great amounts of labor, material and financial resources have been put into thepractice base construction by their colleges. Under the constant conditions of materialand financial resources, the critical point influencing the course and the level of suchconstruction is the input of human power, especially the input of creative humanresources. Thus, the higher vocational colleges should give full play to double-qualityteachers and positively construct practice base construction groups with strong combatcapabilities.For the sustainable development, higher vocational college should come over to thecenter of society from the marginal society, and enhance the contact with the enterprises.On the construction of practice bases, they should create conditions to cooperate withthese enterprises to jointly construct the Intramural and extramural practice bases.Cooperation and Win-Win, is the only way for quickening the construction ofadvanced-level practice bases.
