On Humane Quality Education Of Inspiration For National Defense Education

Ideological and political education should carve and model people's soul. Its function is to help students establish correct outlook on world, life andvalues, and promote their all-around development. The reasons why effects ofideological and political education in universities are not so good are in manyaspects, and one important of them is that the humane quality-orientededucation and humane environment are extremely weak. When the human society enters 21st century, such changes as economic globalization, information networking, culture pluralism, etc. require us to strengthen humanequality-oriented education even more to adapt the development of society. So, to strengthen the study of humane knowledge and the cultivation of humanespirits has important meaning to improving the level of student's ideologicaland ethical quality.On the basis of explaining the concepts of humanity, humane quality andhumane quality-oriented education, this thesis has carried on research into therelationship between humane quality-oriented education and ideological andpolitical education, and considers that they have inherent unity and differencesimultaneously. The unity mainly embodies as follows: continuity of objectives, consistency of contents, mutual aid of methods, and complementarity offunctions. The difference embodies in the differences of the emphasis points ofeducational content and the extent of value orientation. Then it probes intosome functions of humane quality-oriented education in ideological andpolitical education, and puts forward that human quality-oriented education isthe foundation of ideological and political education, it helps overcome some deviations in education, proposes higher demand of ideological and political education, and promotes the innovation of ideological and political education effectively.After that, the thesis analyses the deficiencies of humane foundation inideological and political education, which mainly embodies in such aspects as ambiguity of ideas, being devoid of contents, low-quality of subjects, simple methods and so on. Finally, it announced the enlightenment of humane quality-oriented education as to ideological and political education: Firstly, upgrading the idea of ideological and political education; secondly, substantiating the content of ideological and political education; thirdly, improving the quality of the ideological and political education subject; fourthiy, increasing the input into ideological and political education one; fifthly, improving the method of ideological and political education, so as to improve the quality and actual effect of ideclogieal and political education, and train the all-round developing talents across centuries.
