Analysis And Development Strategies Of China's University Sports Teams

The athletic sports in our nation implements the policy of "the whole nation pattern" .This politics-oriented product of the system of planned economy played a glorious role in enhancing national spirit and promoting international communications during the particular period. With the beginning of the era of knowledge-based economy, the value that it serves politics has faded day by day and it has various disadvantages, which makes the policy of" the whole nation pattern "face new challenges during the period of social change and economic transition.The further implementation of "Combination of Sports and Cultural Education" ,which is the very correct way of merging sports with the profound culture and the healthy humanism, is the radical motive for the development of athletic sports, so setting up the college's advanced sports teams in the universities fits just the tide of the development of the athletic sports. Since 2003, the State Physical Culture Administration has handed over the task organizing the delegation for the world university games to the ministry of education, which proclaimed that the strategic adjustment in the cultivating system of athletic talented persons will be on the way. Facing both opportunities and challenges, how China's athletic sports decide its own future ? Can our colleges shoulder the responsibility of fostering athletic talented persons?The main purpose of this thesis is seeking suitable system of cultivation for athletic talented persons that conforms to the situation of our country and the socialist market's regulation by observing the history of the college's advanced sports teams and referring to some successful forms from other athletic powers abroad. With various kinds of methods, including document observation,surveys with questionnaires, experts interviewing, and statistics etc, the thesis reviews the four stages of the development of the college's advanced sports team, and also sums up training system of other athletic powers abroad. From the standpoint of scientific development, the thesis mainly discusses some topics such as evaluating the college's advanced sports team, the racing system, the system of cultivation for athletic talented persons, market's exploitation and operation, scientific research and medical supervision, then points out that we should make full use of the educational resources of the colleges, pay more attention to the principle of "human first", bring up the talented persons, find the continual road, and finally explores some new countermeasures about how to set up the college's advanced sports teams in the colleges.
