To emphasize science diathesis education is the main direction of science education innovation in the world recently, and the central subject of chemistry education innovation, too. Meanwhile, chemistry history is a history science subject. Thus, it syncretizes natural science related to chemistry and liberal arts, history and philosophy multi-subject knowledge of related to human idea, society history development. It is a synthetical subject tightly and crossedly saturated from natural science, literae humaniores, social science and thinking science. Because of this characteristic, special function during the process of science diathesis education practice by chemistry history is brought into play. So, it has become one of the central subjects of nowaday chemistry teaching innovation by the saturation of chemistry history into chemistry education. It has importantly practical meaning for constructing our national chemistry education system facing the world and future, and accelerating the education content and subject system innovation by thoroughly studying this subject. At present, the scope and depth regarding science diathesis education study is still limited and thorough study is needed in our country. For this purpose, some discussion and study was done in this paper regarding the function of chemistry history to the students' science diathesis training in order to make some progress for increasing the students' science diathesis in our country.In this paper, firstly, the international present situation and trend of introducing chemistry history into chemistry education was expatiated. Then, the importance of the students' science diathesis training and increase to the national science diathesis increase was pointed out. Moreover, it was pointed out that chemistry history education has become the important measure and approach for training the students' science diathesis. Chapter 1 is a part that the external and academic thereunder of introducing chemistry history into chemistry education was analyzed. Chapter 2 is a part that the meaning of science diathesis and science diathesis education was discussed. Chapter 3 is a part that the diathesis function of chemistry history was discussed in details from the point of training science knowledge, science skill, science method, science view, and science character, etc. Chapter 4 is a part that some personal suggestion and idea regarding how to achieve the science education function of chemistry history for students, and the function of chemistry history to the students' science diathesis education. Finally, it was pointed out that the students' science diathesis increase is a omnidirectional, long-term, continuable, vast engineering, and the social active cooperation is needed regarding the tight combination of science diathesis education in order to improve the implement project regarding the students' science diathesis training.All these problems, such as which purpose is needed to achieve regarding the students' diathesis education, which kinds of science diathesis can be trained by introducing the chemistry history into chemistry education, and how to make effective science diathesis education to students during the chemistry history education process were studied and mainly solved in this paper. This paper was fulfilled by combining the present chemistry education innovation trend, imbibing the formers' research production and teaching experience.
