Chemistry history is the process of the occurrence, formation and development of chemistry. It comprises chemistry development history, chemistry society history and chemistry ideology. Chemistry history accumulates a great amount of educational values, epistemology and historical fact, as well as the profound thoughts of the chemists, science attitude and spirit."Full-time education chemistry curriculum standards (trial version)" clearly point out "improving the students science literacy as major idea". It can be seen that students scientific accomplishment plays extremely important role in the new turn basic education curriculum reform. In order to achieve this goal, not only should we teach students knowledge and learning skills, but the learning process and techniques also need emphasized, as well as the cultivation of students' emotional attitude and their values. A lot of ways can raise students' accomplishment of science, however, Chemistry history education plays an important role in improving students' scientific literacy, especially in cultivating students' attitudes and values. Meanwhile, a famous chemist, Fu Ying, said:" Chemistry can give people the knowledge, chemical history give to wisdom." So, we permeate chemistry history in chemistry teaching not only make students to learn more knowledge of chemistry, but also play a decisive role in improving the overall quality of students.This paper used many kinds of research methods, such as literature, text analysis, education and experiment, survey method of questionnaire. Firstly, it introduced the research status of domestic chemistry history and defined the concepts of the history of chemistry, scientific and cultural literacy. Secondly, the chemistry history of the new curriculum on chemical PEP 1 (compulsory), required 2 (Required) were classified, sorted and analyzed. Combined with case of teaching studied how to effectively penetrate chemical history and described the effective ways. Then, the teaching experiment and the student survey were used to further demonstrate the important role of chemistry history in enhancing student's patriotism, inspire activeness to learn chemistry and improve their scientific literacy and the humanities. At last, all of discussing showed the practice of infiltration of chemistry history in high school is feasible.
