On The Poetic Wisdom Of The Children

"The poetic wisdom" is the core concept that Vico put forward and discussed in The New Science . He thought the poetic wisdom is the initional wisdom form of human. Some famous educators and psychologists think that children have their own special wisdom. However, aduls often nelect children's unique value and wisdom. So, the study returns to the inition and foots of life and wisdom to explore the poetic wisdom of children.This study covers three parts. The first part discusses on the children's poetic wisdom of concept , basic characteristic and inner reason. The poetic wisdom of children is a kind of wisdom that children acknowleges or adapts or creates the world in their early life. The second part points out the value and crisis of the poetic wisdom of children. The poetic wisdom of children has its own value,and it has important meaning to the harmonious human nature and the "poetic living"of man on the earth.The last part is the expectation of educatian which based on the poetic wisdom of children. The poetic wisdom of children is the children's nature and the foots of wisdom, so education must base on the poetic wisdom of children , repect the children's life and poetic wisdom . In a word, if only base on the poetic wisdom of children , can we educate comprehensive and harmonious person.
