In 2000,the most well-known journal"TIMES"predicted that bio-economy will become the main trend of the world economy in place of information economy , Bio-technology and bio-science will have a profound influence on the world economy ,and thus affecting people's living and development .Facing a new economic era ,our country is confronted with unprecedented challenges and opportunities ,however, bio-industry in the present phase has its advantages and disadvantages .It needs solid base of science and technology as well as a large number of outstanding key-men to develop the bio-economy greatly, which puts forward a new research topic for future biology teaching in senior middle school in our country .Based on the analysis of the important issues of bio-economy features, bio-economy era features and the mode of cultivating the key man of senior middle school ,the article deals with the outline and solution to the mode of cultivating key man in senior middle school in bio-economy era, and gave a deep insight of the way and method of cultivating creative key man of biology in senior middle school, coming up with reasonable advice about cultivating biology key man in senior middle school.
