The multimedia aided Chinese teaching mode which came into being in the late 20th Century represented the new trend of the Chinese teaching, thus attracted much attention. However, it led the Chinese teaching to the wrong direction for several times due to its immature development. Compared to the traditional Chinese teaching, multimedia aided Chinese teaching indeed has advantages. However, due to the characteristics of the Chinese teaching, shortcomings of the multimedia are inevitable. Therefore, we have to find the best combination of the multimedia aided teaching system and the Chinese teaching, combining the multimedia technology with the traditional teaching mode. To exert the role of multimedia in the Chinese teaching, we must follow the students'psychological characteristics and their perception, attention and memory rules to dispose the relation among the teacher, student and multimedia. In the multimedia teaching, pay attention to the instruction of study attitudes and methods and make the multimedia serve the Chinese teaching. Furthermore, change the teaching philosophy and develop the potential of multimedia in the Chinese teaching. In the meantime, enhance the information competency of the teachers, absolutely integrating the multimedia and the Chinese course.
