The new course standard for senior high school language education has put forward: The language learning should involve appreciation of beauty education, language course in the senior high school should pay attention to the development of students′emotion, let the students gain the ability to enjoy beauty around them, gain the development of awareness for self–appreciationProse has been the most long-lasting kind of the literature style since the birth of the human civilization and it has impressed the world with its eternal vitality; the prose has its internality to appreciate beautiful and emotional characteristics. Prose learning is helpful for enriching beauty, and prose teaching activity should be neither directional nor single. In the prose which implies intelligence and emotion we can feel the whole world being mysterious and everlasting, delicate and unfathomable mind is also right there;The various style of prose writing is endless, unrestrained. Reading a prose pleases us makes us contemplate, deep into the history of more than 1000 years……Being determined to achieve success in prose teaching, we need to carry on an investigation of aesthetic education in prose learning.The prose has to be appreciated in all the aspects ----- outstanding characteristic, available for ordinary audience like teenager students, as a kind of formal art. The prose takes up the comparatively large portion in the teaching material.The relative changes have taken place in the new edition of the teaching material, that is we have much more prose than before ,which is so impressive.We can easily find "emotion","interests ", " beauty appreciation"are playing totally important role in forming the logical chain in the lessons.The prose teaching is the important content in language teaching in the high school. Appreciating beauty is the aim for high school language education.Prose teaching with beauty appreciation deserves lots of investigation research and also it is a big case to probe into.What the thesis talks about is that"the beauty-appreciation"in language learning in high school ,which aims at the building of healthy righteous and sincere personality. And the author suggests trying to do so in language learning, making the best use of class–centered activities, to impress the learners with emotions, with the expectation for the all-round well-educated teenagers.
